Written and directed by Jane Schoenbrun, the A24 film chronicles the experience of two teenage outcasts who cultivate a bond over their shared love of a scary television show.
Yet, in the wake of the show’s odd and unexplained cancellation, the duo quickly discovers the blurred lines between what is real and what is televised fantasy.
