Apollo Nida, the ex-husband of ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star Phaedra Parks, has been arrested.

Nida was nabbed by police after his wife Sherien Almufti accused him of physically assaulting her.

According to In Touch, the 45-year-old – who has served multiple stints behind bars – was charged with domestic violence and simple assault.

Initially incarcerated at a local jail, he posted the $3000 and was released shortly after.

Per court documents, the drama actually unfolded in March.

Upon returning to the marital home after drinking with friends, Almufti claims an argument erupted in which it was alleged that “they were cheating on each other.”

As relayed in the filing, Nida is said to have “pulled her by the hair and pushed by against a refrigerator.”

A “scuffle” broke out and Almufti claims she ran outside to get help; upon returning to the residence, Nida was gone.

He would return and speak with police with a different version of events; one in which he claims the melee was more a case of him trying to see her phone rather than any kind of physical attack.

Still, he was charged with one misdemeanor count of simple battery — family violence.

It would seem it’s all water under the bridge.

Speaking with the same publication, Almufti said:

“It was a huge blow out between a married couple that has brought us much closer since then. We have worked through our issues and have been going to couples therapy. The end.”
