Veteran actor Tony Todd, best known for his role as the terrifying ‘Candyman‘ in the 90’s horror franchise of the same name, has reportedly died aged 69.
Confirmed by a rep for the actor, died Wednesday (November 6) at his home in Marina Del Rey, California. At the time of this report, his cause of death has not been disclosed.
Beyond ‘Candyman,’ Todd – with over 100 film and television credits to his name – was also known for his appearances in ‘Final Destination,’ ‘Platoon,’ ‘Star Trek: the Next Generation,’ ‘Boston Public,’ ‘Night of the Living Dead,’ ‘X-Files,’ and more.
Todd is survived by his two children, Alex and Ariana.
