Pedro Pascal takes center stage in new movie ‘Freaky Tales’ – and it sees him star alongside the likes of Normani and Jay Ellis.
Powered by Lionsgate, the action-packed thriller transports viewers to the streets of Oakland in 1987 for an adventure that seamlessly blends hip-hop, crime, and comedy.

Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, the story follows The Town’s underdogs through four interconnected tales: Teen punks defending their turf against Nazi skinheads, a Rap duo fighting for Hip-Hop immortality, a weary henchman seeking redemption, and an NBA All-Star settling the score.
For Normani, the movie marks the singer’s major acting debut after her recent musical release, ‘Dopamine.’
‘Freaky Tales’ presents a mixtape-style narrative, bringing together an ensemble cast that also includes Dominique Thorne, late Angus Cloud, Marshawn Lynch, Too Short, Ji-young Yoo, Ben Mendelsohn, Jack Champion, and Keir Gilchrist, with a surprise appearance from ‘Forrest Gump’ legend Tom Hanks.
‘Freaky Tales’ hits theaters on April 4.
