The comedy king just teased which horror blockbusters could be parodied in the upcoming ‘Scary Movie 6,’ and let’s just say no hit is safe.
In an interview with Comicbook, Wayans revealed that the new film will poke fun at both the classics and some of the best horror films of the last few years.
He said:
“I’m just a fan of the whole genre, man. ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer,’ may have something in there. I think the ‘Scream’ franchise is always a great one. I think ‘Heretic’ was a wonderful film. ‘Longlegs’. ‘Get Out’. ‘Nope’. There are just so many great horror films to pull from that we plan on having a field day. ‘Sinners’.”
The good news doesn’t stop there. As reported, Anna Faris and Regina Hall are back as Cindy and Brenda, the iconic duo.
Slated to hit theatres June 12, 2026, ‘Scary Movie 6’ looks set to merge nostalgia with fresh material. The film promises to back that R-rated, fearless parody that the original set the standard for.
Im sure 6 will probably be better than 5 & 4. But im sure it’s not touching the trilogy. It will take way more than a washed up Marlon to make that a possibility.
