Devine urged the younger generation to be creative and come up with their own ideas, following recent news that ‘Dreamgirls’ will be recast and given a modern twist on Broadway.
She recently shared her thoughts at the Sheryl Lee Ralph Divas Simply Singing Gala:

As reported, ‘Dreamgirls’ will return to Broadway in the fall of 2026.
Devine, Ralph, and Jennifer Holliday starred in the original production, which won six Tony Awards during its run.
