The ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star hard launched her relationship with Atlanta entrepreneur Patrice ‘Sway’ McKinney in a glowing birthday tribute on Instagram, complete with cozy photos, Christmas lights, and club night vibes.
The reveal marks Williams’ first confirmed relationship since finalizing her divorce from Simon Guobadia earlier this year. Fans will remember she previously hinted at dating both a man and a woman as she navigated single life with the help of therapy, admitting she was learning to open up to people who aren’t narcissists. She told PEOPLE in June that:
“When you go through a bad enough breakup, you’re like, ‘I don’t like nobody,’ I was sitting there, I was like, ‘Do I like women enough? Can I get with a woman? Who can come in and fill this void?’ But I don’t [have that] yet. It’ll come.”
Now, Williams seems to be embracing softness, healing, and new beginnings.
