Cliff ‘Method Man’ Smith is continuing his steady Hollywood run.
The Wu-Tang Clan legend has signed on to star alongside Angelina Jolie and Charlie Plummer in ‘Sunny,’ a gritty new thriller.

The film centers on a fierce female gangster racing against the clock to save her sons and herself from a violent drug lord, drawing inspiration from classic mafia tales. Smith will reportedly portray Ruskin, a black-market art dealer, though further character details remain tightly guarded.
Written by William Day Frank, who developed the story with Sørhaug, ‘Sunny’ boasts a heavyweight production team that includes Jolie as a producer.
At the time of writing, a release date has not been announced, but in the meantime, fans can see Smith in the new romantic comedy ‘Relationship Goals’ on February 4 with Kelly Rowland.
