According to The Hollywood Reporter, production has restarted on Season 7, with Bravo choosing to follow Cosby’s lead regarding when or if she returns to filming.
As of writing, the network has not confirmed any casting changes for the upcoming season.
The delay came after police in Salt Lake City responded to an overdose call involving Robert Cosby Jr. on February 24. Authorities said the incident ultimately became a death investigation.
In a joint statement shared at the time, Mary and husband Robert Cosby Sr. mourned their son’s loss.
“Our beloved son Robert Jr. has been called home to the Lord. Though our hearts ache, we take comfort in God’s promise and in knowing he is finally at peace. We are grateful for your prayers and trust in the Lord to carry us through this time of sorrow.”
Robert previously appeared on the Bravo hit alongside his mother, opening up about his struggles with substance abuse during a candid Season 5 conversation that resonated deeply with viewers.
For now, production continues without Cosby, while fans await further updates about her potential return.
