Xavier Smalls is facing intense backlash after a resurfaced video captured the ‘Beauty in Black‘ actor making controversial comments about the LGBT community.

In the footage, originally broadcast in early February, the actor is seen discussing religion and morality before responding to a viewer question about LGBT people.
“That goes for other sinners. Scoffers, mockers, liars, all things that are an abomination. It’s not just the LGBT… these are all sins that God doesn’t tolerate.”
Elsewhere in the clip, the actor stated that while God “loves all his children,” those who “live in sin” would ultimately face consequences in the afterlife.
The resurfaced video has triggered widespread criticism across social media, with many calling out the remarks as harmful, especially given the show’s inclusive casting.
The Netflix drama has featured several LGBTQ+ talents since its debut, including Ts Madison.

Thoughts are simple HE HAS THE RIGHT TO FEEL AND SAY WHAT HE PLEASES. WE DON’T HAVE TO LIKE OR AGREE WITH IT. Might I add he didn’t single out just the LGBT community in his comments. Why is his morals, views or beliefs a news story in the first place? We don’t want ppl holding our views, feelings or personal beliefs against us so why are we attacking his?
