Set in 1993, the film follows estranged fighters Ryu and Ken as they reunite under unexpected circumstances, thanks to Chun-Li’s mission to expose a deadly conspiracy. As the tournament intensifies, so do the personal stakes, with past demons resurfacing in explosive ways.
Directed by Kitao Sakurai, the film leans into the franchise’s fiery energy, complete with Hadoukens, roundhouse kicks, and fan-favorite characters like M. Bison, Guile, and Akuma.
Adding an extra layer of intrigue, the trailer features a previously unheard version of ‘Ambitionz Az A Ridah’ by Tupac, originally crafted for Mike Tyson in the 1990s.
With a stacked cast including Noah Centineo, 50 Cent (Curtis Jackson), Andrew Koji, Callina Liang, and Jason Momoa, the film is shaping up to be a major cinematic brawl.
‘Street Fighter’ lands in cinemas on October 16.
