Michael Jackson mania is sweeping through pop culture once again. And this time, it’s thanks to the eagerly anticipated biopic, ‘Michael.’
The theatrical event has been long-anticipated and easily serves as one of the year’s most buzzed-about releases.
Led by the King of Pop’s nephew, Jaafar Jackson, in the titular role, the film promises a raw and unvarnished look at the layered life of the greatest to ever take to the stage.
Ahead of its global release, That Grape Juice sat down with director Antoine Fuqua, who opened up in earnest about the journey and intention behind bringing ‘Michael’ to the big screen.
Speaking candidly with TGJ’s Chet Kincaid, the revered filmmaker showered praise on MJ’s inimitable life and legacy and discussed the potential of a sequel.
