The ‘A Different World’ actor shared the news on Instagram with the caption:
‘Some moments you don’t rush. You just wait until they’re ready.
Tonight is one of those moments. I’m coming back to the stage and I’m bringing family with me. First time sharing the mic with my daughter, comedian @paigebryanofficial, alongside my longtime opener @chasecomedy.
Thank you @theicehousecc for making this homecoming possible.’
The comedian also shared that this marks just the beginning of his comeback, adding:
‘I can’t walk. Since the stroke in 2020, I have not been on stage… It’s just the beginning of me coming back. I’m so looking forward to these shows. I’ve got so much to talk about. I’m going to be talking more trash than I ever have.’
This comes after the actor made his return to acting as Benny in Tyler Perry‘s ‘Straw’.
For context, the ‘The Sinbad Show’ star suffered a stroke in October 2020 after a blood clot traveled from his heart to his brain.
Sinbad is set to perform on May 10 at the Comedy Ice House in Pasadena, California.
