‘Saturday Night Live U.K.’ will officially be back for round two.

After weeks of speculation, Sky has confirmed that the buzzy British adaptation of the iconic sketch series has secured a second season amid fluctuating ratings.

Executive producer Lorne Michaels celebrated the announcement by praising the cast and creative team, noting that the series has continued to evolve week after week.

Though traditional viewing figures have trailed behind major U.K. broadcasters, the show has found major traction online. Several sketches have exploded on YouTube, with viral cold opens centred on Prince Andrew and King Charles generating millions of views.

The freshman season has already welcomed appearances from names such as Tina Fey and Jimmy Fallon, while upcoming hosts Hannah Waddingham and Ncuti Gatwa are set to close out the current run in style.

The renewal comes with a 12-episode order set to air across fall 2026 and early 2027.
