Tia Mowry is bringing suspense to Lifetime this summer with her latest headline-grabbing role.
The actress has signed on to star in and executive produce ‘Single Black Tenant,’ a new thriller as part of the network’s popular ‘Ripped From The Headlines’ movie slate.

Inspired by true events, the film follows Esme Williams, a woman who believes she’s finally found stability after moving into an affordable apartment in Cleveland. However, things quickly spiral when she suspects her landlord may be hiding a deadly secret.
The project marks another Mowry and Lifetime pairing; her most recent title was ‘A Very Merry Beauty Salon’ in 2024, which she also starred in and executive-produced.
‘Single Black Tenant’ will premiere on June 27.
