‘A Different World ‘ first-look trailer is here, and the original cast is back together with a fresh new look as the beloved cultural staple takes a new turn.

The series is back, with the students of Hillman College coming back together again. Kadeem Hardison and Jasmine Guy will be the center of this new look of the series. With former series regulars Cree Summer and Darryl M. Bell also returning.
As previously reported, Tichinia Arnold and Raven Goodwin have also joined the cast.
The sequel follows the daughter of Whitney and Dwayne, Deborah Wayne, played by Maleah Joi Moon, paving her own way in the new world, whether that’s following in her parents’ footsteps by attending n a historically black college or creating her path and straying away from that tradition.
Debbie Allen, who was an executive producer for the original run and is now back for the reboot, shared her excitement:
“Our show changed lives, tripled the enrollment of historically black colleges, and gave a strong voice and platform for Young Black America. The incredible fresh young talent we have discovered, paired with the lovable audience favorite OGs, makes this much-anticipated return a must-see on Netflix.”
