Jussie Smollett is reportedly back on the market.
According to a new report, the actor and singer has called off his engagement to fiancé Jabari Redd, bringing their relationship to an end less than a year after announcing plans to marry.

According to TMZ, the split took place within the last few weeks and that Smollett is now focused on moving forward, with particular attention on his music career.
The news comes almost exactly one year after the former ‘Empire’ star revealed that Redd had accepted his proposal.
At the time, Smollett shared snaps from the special moment and wrote:
“I’ll be spending my birthday with my Fiancé… He said YES.”
Upon trumpeting the news, Smollett’s former co-star Taraji P. Henson was among the many supporting the couple, affectionately commenting, “MY BABIES.”
Redd, an actor whose roles include ‘Tyler Perry’s House of Payne’ and ‘The Chi’, largely kept the relationship out of the spotlight alongside Smollett.
Congrats to Jabari for freeing himself from Jussie Narclett. Should’ve said no from the get go.
Meh I feel it was a PR relationship to bleach “The G-ay Tupac” looking-for-hookups-at-ungodly-hours-in-artic-weather reputation. The contract musta asked Jabbari for a year in exchange of x Dollar amount. I see him gel well with Jason Lee, but he may be too old for him. Back on G***** he goes.
