Tom Holland is back on the big screen. Specifically, the second trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day has arrived, ahead of the film’s theatrical debut on July 31.

The film takes place in a world where everyone has forgotten Peter Parker’s secret identity. Consequently, his closest allies, MJ (Zendaya) and Ned (Jacob Batalon), no longer remember him.

Destin Daniel Cretton, director of Shang-Chi and the Legends of the Ten Rings, helms the project. The cast includes Jon Bernthal, Mark Ruffalo, Sadie Sink, Tramell Tillman, and Michael Mando.

The first trailer launched in March. It broke the record for the most views in 24 hours, notching 718.6 million views. The previous record belonged to Deadpool & Wolverine.

Holland has played Spider-Man for a decade. His last solo movie, Spider-Man: No Way Home, remains Sony’s highest-grossing film with nearly $2 billion globally.

Brand New Day arrives over four years after No Way Home. Marvel mainstays Erik Sommers and Chris McKenna return to write the script, with Justin Kuritzkes joining as a writer.

Holland previously told The Hollywood Reporter about his return:

“The first few meetings were about, ‘Why would we do this again?’ And I think we found the reason why. I’m really, really happy with where we’re at in terms of the creative.”
