Kai Cenat is facing legal action. A fan is suing the streamer’s company over alleged safety failures at his Streamer University event in Manhattan.

Plaintiff Caleb Gottfried (who goes by SNVRK online) claims he nearly suffered heatstroke twice at the event held at a college campus last month.

He alleges the venue became dangerously hot and overcrowded, with negligent crowd control and a “total failure to provide standard safety and ventilation measures.”

Gottfried claims NYPD officers witnessed the incidents.

The lawsuit also alleges Cenat’s company used Gottfried’s image in promotional material without his consent. He claims he appeared as “background talent” in a commercial but never signed a release form.

Gottfried is seeking more than $330,000 in damages for negligence and unauthorised use of his likeness.

This is not Cenat’s only legal headache. He is also facing a separate lawsuit from another man who alleges he was assaulted by a member of Cenat’s security team at the same venue.

Cenat’s representatives have not yet publicly responded to the allegations.
