Christina Milian‘s filmography may have seen her mostly warm hearts with romantic comedies and dramas over the last two decades, but now the singer-actress is showing off her versatility with the new Lifetime thriller ‘He Couldn’t Let Go.’

Also starring Gregg Wayans, Steven Strait, and Annie Gonzalez, ‘Couldn’t’ tells the tale of how a woman’s quiet night turned into a full-on fight for her own survival after she encountered a disgruntled work colleague on the run.

Produced by Fox Entertainment Studios, the Cory Miller-directed film is set to premiere on Saturday (July 11).
