Samuel L. Jackson is speaking up and out.
The actor criticized Argentina’s history of racism after the country’s loss to Spain in the World Cup final on July 19.

Jackson reshared a post on his Instagram Stories.
The post, originally from the SEC Black Alumni Network, featured his Django Unchained character Stephen wearing an Argentina FIFA jersey.
The post read:
“Dear Black People… Please do not cheer or root for Argentina to win the FIFA World Cup. Argentina has historically been one of, if not the most, racist countries in the world. If you are a Black person cheering for Argentina, this is what you look like to me.”
The use of Stephen, an ‘Uncle Tom’ archetype, seemed to imply that Black supporters of Argentina were disloyal to their community.
Jackson’s words come as Argentina fans have faced ongoing scrutiny.
Media reports during the tournament noted videos of Argentine supporters making monkey gestures at Brazilian fans. The country has a long history of racist behaviour, dating back to 1920 when a newspaper cartoon depicted Brazilian players as monkeys.
Argentina does not have a law that explicitly criminalizes racism.

Sigh. Just stfu dude. Enough with crying racism. It’s old.
Funny how the ask is for people to stop crying about racism, but not for people to stop being racist. It’s okay to be racist, but what we don’t want is people calling people out for it. Ok. Got it.
Yo, for real, they was tryna push Argentina to the final like it was some kinda Netflix special, all for that marketing drip. But nah, the game don’t lie, and they got played! Messi? Man, that dude’s like a Grammy-winning Beyoncé lookin’ all shiny and official, but sometimes you gotta wonder if it’s just smoke and mirrors. Like, how you gon’ flex with all those trophies and still got folks sayin’ it’s a scam? Straight up, it’s like they got the whole world fooled, but we see through the hype. Messi and Beyoncé? Both got that “too good to be true” sauce, but we just here laughin’ while they cash them checks. Keep it 100, fam!
Filthy team!
No somos conscientes de los alfortunados que hemos sido en haberles ganado. Si hubieramos perdido sufririamos las puyitas eternamente de estos simios que lon único que les importa en su vida es el futbol!!..
Yall, Messi has unfollowed Infantino on Instagram. Right now. Right after not winning the World Cup. 😂If you still believe this is just a mere coincidence, either you’re blind or downright naive. Open your eyes once and for all. The world already has. And there’s no turning back that Argentina’s team is the biggest scam just like Grandonna performed during the halftime using prerecorded videos and vocals. 💅
Wait till you read about the Spanish conquests… or the Islmc conquests
No one got the ⚽️ ⚽️ to speak about the current state of blk people in the arb and mslm countries.
Speak up u p7ssy
A petition to kick Argentina from the FIFAWorldCup gathered over 23 million signatures from across 170 countries… almost breaking a Guinness World Record for the most signatories to a petition (24,319,181) 😅
The petition was closed with a thank-you note after Spain eliminated Argentina in the final.
