During a candid new episode of ‘Speak On It,’ the multihyphenate confirmed that the invitation to return has been extended. Her response, however, was a firm no.

Kandi Burruss Confirms She Was Asked Back
While discussing whether she could ever rejoin the reality juggernaut, the star initially left the door cracked for the distant future. For now, though, her focus is firmly elsewhere.
“Now, what I will say about it is I love the audience of Bravo. I love the fans and all of that. So, I wouldn’t say never, but that’s not on my bucket list right now.
Like, right now, I have so many other dreams and goals. And I don’t think, I think being on the show would be blocking me from going after the other, bigger things that I want to do.”
When her co-host pressed for clarity, the GRAMMY winner confirmed this was more than a hypothetical:
The DJAone: “But have they asked you to come back?”
Kandi: “Yeah, they have.”
The DJAone: “And you told them no?”
Kandi: “Mm-hmm.”

Booked, Busy, and Beyond ‘RHOA’
Kandi departed ‘RHOA’ in 2024 after 14 seasons, ending a run that began with season 2 in 2009 and made her the franchise’s longest-serving Housewife at the time.
Her explanation tracks with the career she has built beyond reality television. The Tony-nominated producer’s Broadway credits include ‘The Piano Lesson,’ ‘The Wiz,’ ‘Othello,’ and ‘Joe Turner’s Come and Gone.’ She also returned to the stage herself in ‘& Juliet.’
