According to Variety, ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ has officially crossed the $2 billion mark worldwide, amassing $2.022 billion globally.
That figure includes $785 million from North America and $1.23 billion internationally.
The blockbuster is now just the eighth movie in history to enter the exclusive $2 billion club. Even more impressively, it reached the benchmark faster than all but one film, ‘Avengers: Endgame.’
The achievement continues a monster run for Holland’s fourth solo outing as the web-slinger, which stormed out of the gate with a record-breaking opening.
Zendaya’s return as MJ also formed a major part of the movie’s pre-release buzz, with her comeback teased in the film’s first trailer.
