Shamea Morton‘s steamy turn in ‘Don’t Bring Your Man to Atlanta’ has prompted questions about the film’s promotion, and Todd Tucker is answering.

The filmmaker (who is Kandi Burruss‘s ex-husband) is defending a provocative clip featuring the ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star, insisting the performers understood what their roles involved before cameras rolled.

While encouraging followers to purchase tickets, Tucker paired the intimate scene with a bold claim about his directing skills:

“I may direct the best sex scenes!”

After viewers questioned the clip and its use as a promotional tool, his response was direct:

“It’s acting.”

Tucker explained that cast members are informed about the movie and what their characters will be required to do before agreeing to participate.

He also tapped into Shamea’s reality TV history, using a throwback clip involving Michael ‘Bolo’ Bolwaire in another promotional post captioned:

“Shamea’s husband got pissed when he saw this scene with Bolo.”

When TGJ shared the trailer last year, Morton praised the atmosphere on set:
