Riley Burruss is getting candid about the cosmetic procedure she underwent before heading to college.
While appearing on her mother Kandi Burruss‘ ‘Speak On It‘ podcast recently, the ‘Next Gen NYC‘ star confirmed she had a nose job around five years ago.
Opening up after discussing online speculation about her appearance, Riley admitted that while claims she bleached her skin are untrue, the nose job rumors are not.
“I did do that,” she shared.
Kandi, defended her daughter’s decision noting that:
“In our relationship, I’m always gonna be open to it, to hear what she wants, and if she’s that serious about it, at least I want to be a part of, okay, well, making sure she goes somewhere safe, making sure it’s somewhere that’s going to do it right.”
For Riley, the decision wasn’t about public opinion. She explained:
“It just felt like my nose was a little too big for my face. It was just something that irritated me, and I think I was a little tired of having to contour my nose so much all the time. I was like, you know what? Let’s nip this in the bud real quick.”
The reality star also recalled being stopped by TSA because facial recognition reportedly failed to match her new appearance with her ID.
