Lee Daniels takes the directorial helm of Netflix’s compelling “faith-based thriller,” ‘The Deliverance.’

Set in Indiana, the rivetting film tells the story of Ebony (Andra Day) who moves into a new home with her mother Alberta (Glenn Close) as well as her three children Nate (Caleb McLaughlin), Shante (Demi Singleton) and Andre (Anthony B. Jenkins).

Already faced with life’s challenges, Ebony is met with an entirely new set of problems when a series of demonic occurrences take the family on a ride… to hell.

That Grape Juice’s Chet Kincaid caught up with Caleb McLaughlin, who opened up about his experience on set, how his own faith and outlook impacted his approach to his character, and receiving advice from co-stars Day, Close, and Mo’Nique.

The first look trailer has arrived for ‘The Six Triple Eight.’

Directed and penned by Tyler Perry, the film stars Kerry Washington as Major Charity Adams, the commanding officer of the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion.

Inspired by the first and only Women’s Army Corps unit of color to serve overseas in WWII, the movie has long been buzzed about since its announcement. It’s based on the article by Kevin M. Hymel and centers on the overcoming of racism, sexism, and unthinkable working conditions

Joining Kerry on the cast are Ebony Obsidian, Milauna Jackson, Kylie Jefferson, Shanice Shantay, Sarah Jeffery, Pepi Sonuga, Moriah Brown, Jeanté Godlock, Susan Sarandon, Dean Norris, Sam Waterston, and Oprah Winfrey.

‘The Six Triple Eight’ features an original song written by Diane Warren and performed by H.E.R.

Set for a limited theatrical run beginning December 6, the film arrives on Netflix on December 20.

Colman Domingo takes centerstage in ‘The Madness’ on Netflix.

The Oscar nominee stars as media pundit Muncie Daniels, who is tasked with fighting for his innocence and his life after he stumbles upon a murder deep in the Poconos woods.

With his back against the wall, Muncie strives to reconnect with his estranged family – and his lost ideals – in a bid to survive.

Set to premiere November 28 on the streamer, ‘The Madness’ was created by Stephen Belber (who also serves as showrunner) and co-stars Marsha Stephanie Blake, Gabrielle Graham, John Ortiz, Tamsin Topolski, and TJ Mixon.
