July 12 brings with it ‘Rise of Red‘ – the highly anticipated new installment of Disney’s ‘Descendants‘ film franchise.

This time chronicling the story of Chloe (Malia Baker) and Red (Kylie Cantrall), the daughters of the Cinderella (Brandy) and Queen of Hearts (Rita Ora) respectively, ‘Rise’ sees the princess duo being forced to travel back in time to unravel the historic event that led the Queen down her path of coldheartedness.

Beyond its megawatt, all-star leading talents, the Jennifer Phang-directed musical’s cast is supported by familiar names like China Anne McClain, Dara Reneé, Ruby Rose Turner, Morgan Dudley, Paolo Montalban, and more.

The Braxtons are back on WE tv for a brand-new reality show aptly named ‘The Braxtons.’

Serving as the follow-up to the beloved hit series ‘Braxton Family Values,’ the next chapter of the story will once more follow the lives of legend Toni Braxton and her iconic sisters Tamar Braxton, Trina Braxton, and Towanda Braxton. Matriarch Evelyn Braxton will also be in the mix.

Picking up where the preceding series left off, the show reunites the family in the wake of the passing of sister Traci Braxton and spotlights their bond and individual lives in the here and now.

As relates to the latter, folk will see Toni readying her Las Vegas residency, Tamar navigating her various ventures, Trina starting therapy for PTSD, and Towanda battling alopecia while juggling motherhood and film producing.

‘Gladiator’ returns for an all-new adventure in the aptly titled ‘Gladiator II.’

Roaring into cinemas in November, the action film serves as a seismic sequel to the Russell Crowe-led 2000 classic.

Powered by Paramount Pictures, the epic historical drama chronicles the story of Lucius (played by Paul Mescal).

Set 20 years after the events of the original film, ‘Gladiator II’ spotlights the character as a man grown fighting to honor Maximus’ legacy both in the ring and out of it, all while his political affiliations come back to haunt him.

Eagerly anticipated, the film also stars Denzel Washington and Pedro Pascal.

Moments ago, the first look trailer of the Ridley Scott-directed flick was unleashed.

Buckle up because Apple is taking viewers on quite the ride in the new movie ‘F1.’

Led by Brad Pitt and co-starring Damson Idris, the film races into cinemas in Summer 2025.

‘F1’ follows Sonny Hayes (Pitt), a Formula One driver who raced in the 1990s.

Faced with the aftermath of a gruesome crash, he’s forced to retire from Formula One and looks to make a mark in other fields. Yet, when the magnetic pull of newcomer Joshua Pearce (Idris) sees him come out of retirement to mentor, a new journey commences.

Fox Soul show ‘Tea-G-I-F’ typically sees hot topics addressed by its anchors. However, recent times have seen the show and its anchors become the hot topics themselves. Largely in part due to the drama that has erupted in-house.

The show’s creator and lead panelist Claudia Jordan was on-hand at the BET Awards 2024.
