2019 gifts Jennifer Lopez yet another win.

After the successful third season of her hit NBC dance competition, ‘World of Dance,’ the multi-talented diva succeeded the television effort by jet-setting across America for her ‘It’s My Party’ tour (which ended on a $54 million high note).  Quickly following the Stateside jaunt with putting the finishing touches on her latest film, ‘Hustlers’ (also starring Constance Wu, Julia Stiles, Keke Palmer, Cardi B, and more), Lopez spent the last month pounding the promo pavement in support of the flick’s September 13th arrival.

Now, with box office receipts counted the 5o-year-old superstar can rejoice at news her stripper-inspired film has danced circles around the competition and put her in first place among the weekend’s newcomers.

Naomi Campbell undoubtably stands as one of the most legendary supermodels of all-time and, for many, even defines the term.

And while others would have rested on the comfort of her well-earned status, the style icon is using her platform for a potent cause.

Case in point last night’s ‘Fashion For Relief’ presentation, which returned to London in triumphant form. Previous instalments have taken place in New York, Cannes, Moscow, and Mumbai.

Established by Campbell in 2005 to raise money for disaster relief worldwide, the 2019 show was held at the British Museum and saw the supermodel deliver her famed “Naomi Campbell Walk.’

After the presentation (which was attended by the likes of Anna Wintour, Tiwa Savage, Damson Idris, Skepta, Eve, and Edward Enniful), a gala dinner was held and auction where prized art and designer items were sold to raise money for the Mayor’s Fund for London. Funds raised are set to go towards employability programs which offer support for young Londoners from low-income backgrounds.

Head below for pics, as well as word from Campbell on the incredible movement:

80’s and 90’s babies rejoice!

Although the current Hollywood wave of rebooting the best movies and television shows from our childhoods has been launched to varying critical and commercial results, it’s certainly a trend we shouldn’t expect to slow any time soon.

Two series who recently joined the brigade are FOX’s teen drama, ‘Party of Five,’ and  Nickelodeon’s ‘Are You Afraid of the Dark?’  Both announced over the last year, the former – set for relaunch on Freeform – lifted a sneak peek at its premiere episode shortly before the latter’s trailer was unveiled (which is set to remain on its home network).  And, while fans of the shows’ first respective runs shouldn’t expect to see faces from the originals, creators promise its content will be no less engaging.

We’ll let you be the judges of that.  Look inside to see the first trailers:

Just last week we reported Pop superstar Rihanna was “in talks” to portray supervillan Poison Ivy in the forthcoming ‘Batman’ film, due in theaters in 2021 (click here to read more).

Citing her music videos like ‘B*tch Better Have My Money’ and ‘Needed Me’ as proof of her acting prowess and ability to do a kickass job of playing the bad gal, fans of the diva – affectionately known as #TheNavy – created a campaigning chorus to get the attention of the movie’s casting agents and producers to try to set the wheels in motion. Rih – hard at work with Fenty beauty campaigns, New York Fashion Week, and putting the finishing touches on her new album – only added fuel to the fire when she took to Instagram earlier this week to show off ‘bat-mobile’ inspired fashion.

Just last night as she aligned with fellow stars for her annual Diamond Ball (click here to read more), the Grammy winner was quizzed by our friends at ET Online about her involvement in the Matt Reeves-directed movie.  Hear her response inside:
