Actor-turned-TV-personality Mario Lopez has been dragged all up and down Twitter thanks to controversial remarks he made about children and gender identity.

Taking to ‘The Candace Owens Show,’ the former ‘Saved by the Bell’ star set off alarms for members of the LGBTQ community (and its supporters) when he stated:

“…I’m never one to tell anyone how to parent their kids… and I think if you come from a place of love, you really can’t go wrong. But at the same time, if you’re three years old and you’re saying you’re feeling a certain way, or you think you’re a boy or a girl or whatever the case may be, I just think it’s dangerous as a parent to make that determination then.

You don’t know anything about sexuality yet… You’re just a kid.”

‘Pose’ continues to strut from strength to strength in its seismic second season.

The Emmy-nominated FX series, which spotlights the LGBTQ ballroom scene of the 80s and 90s, has been met with rapturous applause since its debut and is earning it the more with its sophomore run.

Heading into this season, creators Ryan Murphy and Steven Canals promised a deeper delving into the various challenges faced by the likes Blanca, Electra, PrayTell, Angel, and co.

Rarely do spin-off’s and sequels best the original. However ‘Love & Hip-Hop‘s Hollywood arm is re-writing all of the rules.

Royally ratchet, the addictive series is making a serious beeline for the top-spot with its sizzling storylines.

Now in its soxth season, the show returns to VH1 next Monday (August 5th), and an action-packed super-trailer has been unlocked to whet appetites.

‘Love & Hip-Hop’ veteran K. Michelle continues her Hollywood integration and, as you’ll see below, is still stirring the pot. Also back in the mix are Lyrica Anderson and A1, who despite the arrival of their first child are still going through it.

Per the newly unleashed trailer, B2K‘s Lil Fizz and J Boog spotlight the group’s reunion, Rap veteran Yo-Yo is on-board, as well as a slew of newcomers.

Shame and disgrace befell Michael Darby of ‘The Real Housewives of Potomac’ when a cameraman working on the series accused him of groping his behind without his permission.

His wife, Ashley Darby, worked tirelessly to convince viewers that the allegation was untrue and hoped the fact that her husband wasn’t jailed for the alleged crime would silence talk that he is of the predatory persuasion.

Today, her efforts have been shattered by the release of footage lifted from the very camera Michael’s alleged victim was holding when he was attacked.

On it the horrified cameraman can be heard reprimanding the businessman for touching him.

Damning, as Michael- who claimed the incident never happened when the story first broke- incriminates himself by apologising.

No means no! You heard the camera man say, “Don’t do that!” 2-3 times. Stop making excuses for Michael Darby. @BravoTV @Andy @RHOP_ @_AshleyDarby should be ashamed if Michael returns next season. So because a man was violated, Michael gets a pass? Wrong. Period. #RHOP

Having already helped breathe new life into the classic ‘chick flick,’ ‘Steel Magnolias,’ with its 2012 made-for-TV remake, singer/songwriter/actress Jill Scott‘s bringing that same energy to the newest adaptation of one of the 90’s leading female empowerment films –  ‘First Wives Club.’

The 1996 revenge comedy – which starred Goldie Hawn, Bette Midler, and Diane Keaton – is being reborn in series form courtesy of BET+ (BET’s forthcoming subscription video-on-demand service).  With ‘Girls Trip’ writer Tracy Oliver attached to the project, Scott reunites with her ‘Why Did I Get Married’ co-star Malik Yoba to lead an all-star cast which includes familiar names Michelle Buteau, Ryan Michelle Bathe, and more.
