The cast of ‘Empire’ have been working the campaign trail in support of the show’s soundtrack and this evening’s season one finale.

For Jussie Smollett and Bryshere Gray, their latest stop was ‘The View’ where they offered the first live performance of fan-favourite, ‘You’re So Beautiful.’

Tonight sees FOX phenomenon ‘Empire’ reach its season 1 climax!

Naturally, its stars are hitting the promo trail hard for the two-hour finale.

Yesterday saw Bryshere Gray, who plays Hakeem Lyon on the music drama, stop by ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ to do his part.

As well as plugging the show, he did a sound job of selling himself very well.

Poised, well-spoken, and ready to play, Gray – who recently signed a major record deal – came across awesomely.

Chris Brown‘s life is fast morphing into an episode of Sunset Beach.

Talented with a wealth of success under his belt, the singer has been publicly plagued by a series of personal problems – the latest of which being that he fathered a daughter unbeknownst to his girlfriend, Karrueche Tran.

Fed up, the model announced her latest break-up with the star on Twitter.

Now, though, it’s emerged that she’s taking her story to TV.

Overnight a preview of Tran’s unannounced sit-down interview with OWN’s Iyanla Vazant surfaced.

FOX are onto a bonafide smash with Lee Daniels‘ music drama ‘Empire’ and are beginning to create a cool synergy with their other properties.

Case in point last night’s episode of ‘American Idol.’

The long-running talent search welcomed Jussie Smollett and Bryshere Gray onto the stage to perform ‘No Apologies’ from the ‘Empire’ season 1 soundtrack, which is currently blocking Madonna from the top spot on iTunes.

As fans await Rihanna‘s new album with shrinking enthusiasm, the star has been juggling a growing list of other responsibilities.
