The 59th Annual Grammy Awards are well underway in sunny Los Angeles today and, thanks to a shiny gramophone trophy, the day just got brighter for a select few.

The Recording Academy hands out many awards over the course of the day before the telecast hits the CBS airwaves.  Among the categories already awarded are Best R&B Performance, Best Music Video, Best Rap/Sung Performance, and many more.

John Legend and WGN: America hit the jackpot when they released ‘Underground,’ a series chronicling the lives of enslaved African Americans who put their live on the line for freedom.

Delivering an astounding 3 million total viewers each week in its inaugural season, the show returns for its second season on March 8th.

For its sophomore run, Rosa Lee (Jurnee Smollet-Bell) comes back to the south to help the group’s compatriots on their harrowing quest for liberation. To assist her on the journey, she enlists the help the notorious Harriet Tubman (Aisha Hinds).
