It’s the first taste of new material from Sande since last year’s sophomore set ‘Long Live The Angels.’

There’s no word yet on whether it’s the lead release from album #3; and the timing of its arrival (see: just  before the launch of her arena tour in support of ‘Angels’) suggests it may in actuality be a standalone track promote that project.

Not resting on her laurels, Runway RiRi landed in London to officially launch the products at upmarket department store Harvey Nichols.

Xscape‘s reunion is Bravo bound.

As reported, the return of the R&B outfit will be broadcast in a new reality series this Fall.

Today not only brought with it the confirmed title – ‘Xscape: Still Kickin’ It’ – but also a titillating trailer.

The Mona Scott Young production will follow Kandi, Tiny, Tamika, and LaTocha as they work to rediscover their collective mojo after almost 20 years apart.

Inter-spliced with their preparation for performances at the BET Awards and Essence Festival will be scenes of the ladies re-addressing old wounds as they strive to heal once and for all.

Even the most successful careers are plagued by challenges.

This is a reality that Pop empress Madonna is well-acquainted with.

One of her more public setbacks came with the release of her most recent album, 2015’s ‘Rebel Heart.’

The ‘Living For Love’ led set was rocked by a series of catastrophic leaks prior to its arrival – with both demos and full songs hitting the net.

It defied the odds to open at #1  on the pure sales tally in the US, but was the first casualty of the chart’s embrace of streaming and had to settle for a #2 on the final Billboard count after being bested by the SPS figure of the ‘Empire’ soundtrack. To date, it’s only sold 240,000 copies — in total.

Internationally, the project fared even worse.

Unbeknownst to Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift, some members of their respective fan bases have hatched a plan to block Cardi B from rocketing to the top of the Billboard Hot 100.

Their motives? To keep Taylor at the top with her new single ‘Look’ and to rain on the parade of Minaj critics who hope a #1 for Cardi will finish Minaj once..and for all.
