DNCE danced their way to the upper echelon of the charts with hits such as ‘Cake By The Ocean’ last year and are now expanding their branding empire in partnership with K•SWISS.

The Pop quad, led by Joe Jonas, have teamed up with the popular sneaker line to front their latest campaign – which is being rolled out in print and digitally.

Speaking on the venture, Jonas said:

“We thought K•SWISS’ retro-like style matched our personal aesthetic perfectly. We can’t wait to show our fans what we have in store for this campaign and our upcoming collection.”

Patrick Buchanan, Global Marketing Director at K•SWISS Global Brands, added:

“We’re big fans of the band and excited for them to join the K•Swiss family. They have a very unique personal style and global recognition.”

The group have a quirky proposition and we’re loving their Nicki Minaj collabo, so kudos to them on the major partnership!

Sevyn Streeter is celebrating the long-awaited release of her debut album ‘Girl Disrupted.’

Hatched this week, the set has been earning rave reviews from her loyal fanbase who’ve been salivating for the LP for almost 4 years.

‘Anything U Want’ has emerged as a favorite, so the arrival of its accompanying video is oh so apt.

Ty Dolla $ign, Wiz Khalifa and Jeremih join the starlet in the ALFY directed video, which also features appearances from the Serayah and Eric Bellinger.

Speaking on the concept, Sevyn told BB:

“It only seemed right for the video to feel [like a party]. I never went to college — unfortunately — so I lived out a little piece of my dream in this video. I threw a frat party, took a few shots and invited the three coolest dudes I know, LOL: Wiz Khalifa, Jeremih & Ty Dolla $ign. We had a blast on set and I love how it all came together.”

Solid.

This has potential if pushed.

The promotional campaign for Sevyn Streeter‘s ‘Girl Disrupted’ continues this week!

Her latest stop? ‘The Wendy Williams Show.’

There, she performed the cut ‘I Do’  for the show’s audience with hopes her live delivery will aid sales of the LP.

Drama has found its way to Mary J. Blige‘s front door!

As she seeks to protect her money from her soon-to-be ex-husband Kendu Isaacs the entertainer has discovered that Signature Bank has re-opened a $1.9 million case against her.

What went down?

She and Kendu took out a $2 million loan from the bank and agreed to repay it via monthly $20,000 payments. Alas, the bank claims that Blige hasn’t paid them in months prompting them to reopen their case against her.

She’s yet to respond to the unfortunate development.

Jennifer Lopez has unleashed the video for ‘Ni Tú Ni Yo’ – the lead single from her upcoming Spanish-language album.

Lensed in Islamorada, Florida, the sizzling clip sees the stunner slay in array of ensembles for an adorning lover.

Directed by Emil Nava, the visual – which co-stars Gente de Zona and Khotan Fernandez –  awaits below…

Simple, yet stunning!

Sure we’d have loved choreography, but La Lopez proves to be an arresting watch no matter what.

Britney Spears has hit many a major stage in her time, but according to sources she has her heart set on the Super Bowl 2018.

Having expressed said desires to her team, advocates for the 35-year-old are said to have been in “secret” discussions with organizers of next year’s Halftime Show – which takes place in Minneapolis on February 4th.

The apparent thinking from Britney and her team is that she has the catalogue and the name brand, so it’ll be an attractive prospect for both viewers and advertisers. There’s reportedly talk of pairing Spears with other acts to fill the 12 minute spot.

If indeed a “go,” it’d technically be the singer’s 2nd Halftime appearance; she previously performed as a guest alongside Aerosmith and Nsync. [Source]

***************

No. Just no.

And we say that as appreciators of Britney’s legacy. Because should she do it, she’s liable to make a permanent blotch on her legacy that can’t be removed nor glossed over.

No matter which way it’s diced or sliced, she is a shadow of a shadow of a shadow of the performer she once was. Something everyone would become privy to seeing should she be carted out to “perform.”

Even pairing her with other acts runs risk of highlighting her diminished abilities.

So, again, issa no from us.

Perhaps, in light of her love for live singing, she could kick off festivities with the US Nation Anthem?

Keyshia Cole is gearing up for a starring role on VH1’s ‘Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood,’ but it looks like the drama is starting early for the R&B belle.

According to court documents, the singer has been served with a lawsuit by  Sabrina Mercadel – a woman who claims the star put them paws on her. She is seeking $4 million in compensation for her injuries.

As for the catalyst for the alleged incident, it’s Cole’s ex Birdman.

The pair are believed to have dated back in 2014. Yet, that all came to a head when Cole arrived at this Los Angeles penthouse only to find Mercadel there.

She is said to have flown into a jealous rage and laid the literal smackdown on her love rival.
Explaining the total tallied, Mercadel listed the following:

$1.5 mil, pain and suffering
$500k, emotional distress
$2 mil, loss of use of body part
 $200k, future medical expenses
 $50k, loss of earnings
 $300k, future loss of earnings

Interestingly, Mercadel (who says she only had a “platonic” relationship with Birdman) was initially suing his building (for what reason who knows). However, she was since dropped that suit and is making a beeline for Keish.

A mucky mess.

Tyler the Creator of the collective Odd Future seems to have announced that he is a bisexual man via lyrics he penned for his new LP ‘Flower Boy.’

The set surfaced on the net prematurely on July 9th and with it were lines which detail his dalliances with men and the efforts he made to conceal them.

Been kissing white boys since 2004.

Another?

Them feelings I was guardin’, heavy on my mind/All my friends lost, they couldn’t read the signs/I didn’t wanna talk and tell ’em my location, and they ain’t wanna walk/Truth is, since a youth kid, thought it was a phase, Thought it’d be like the Frank; poof, gone…

Of course, Creator’s story surfaces five years after his good friend Frank Ocean came out his via his ‘Channel Orange‘ LP.

Janet Jackson is back on US soil.

The legendary singer has been nested in London for months after setting up home there with her husband Wissam Al Mana and their newborn son Eissa. In recent times though, she’s been in the UK capital hashing out her divorce from the billionaire businessman.

And while the status of the legal proceedings are unknown, it would appear there are no restrictions on her travel movements. Because, Ms. Jackson was spotted arriving in New York today – baby in tow.

With the September 7th launch of the singer’s ‘State Of The World Tour’ drawing near, it’s little surprise she’s returned to the US. Especially as that’s where the trek sets sail.

In any case, peep pics and clips below…

K. Michelle’s decision to slide in the center of Joseline Hernandez‘ feud with Mona Scott-Young has spelled hell for her on social media.

Formerly friends on Young’s ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta‘, Hernandez and Michelle came to digital blows when the latter joined efforts to discredit the former after she accused Young of manipulating disenfranchised women of colour for financial gain.

Hurt by this, Hernandez took to social media to reveal that she was disappointed by K’s move prompting the singer to rock her world by mocking her alleged cocaine addiction.

How social media responded?
