With his “must-see” ‘King & Queen’ World Tour with Mary J. Blige wrapped, Maxwell is continuing support of the second installment of his album trilogy, ‘blackSUMMERS’night,’ by unleashing the Tidal exclusive music video for fan favorite, ‘Gods.’

The follow-up to the set’s other tunes given the visual treatment, ‘Lake by the Ocean’ and ‘1990x,’ the trio of R&B gems are just a few of the many fans can expect to see Max perform live when he goes back on the road in support of the project with a recently announced Stateside tour.

Touching every corner of the country, fans in Nashville will be the first to get their eyes and ears on the crooner before he heads off to Atlantic City, Grand Rapids, and Virginia Beach (to name a few) before wrapping things up in San Diego.

The R&B star scorches in the latest promo for her high-profile Revlon campaign.

As reported, the heavily pregnant singer serves as the Global Brand Ambassador for the cosmetics giant.

The role will he CiCi splashed across print, TV, and online platforms to plug varying items from the Revlon range. Above sees Mrs Wilson rocking the Nail Enamel.

In other news, the 31-year-old has ample cause to celebrate because she’s just hit a major milestone on VEVO.

Trey Songz’ 7th album, ‘Tremaine’ (released March 24th), zoomed to #2 on iTunes top 100 albums chart within hours of its release.  Granted, some of the set’s highlights like ‘Animal,’ ‘Song Goes Off,’ and ‘Nobody Else But You’ deserve some credit for their role in assisting, but the feat is undoubtedly due in greater part to his aggressive promo schedule.

Touching both sides of the pond in just a matter of days, Songz’ has hit GQ, Hot 97, Beats Radio 1, BET, and, of course, his now infamous Breakfast Club interview, all in support of the new LP.

Mary J. Blige is finally ready to showcase the ‘Strength Of A Woman.’

The Queen of Hip-Hop/Soul was initially set to release the album last December. Yet, few can fault her for any delays given that she’s still in the midst of a divorce with soon-to-be- ex- husband Kendu Issacs.

Powering through her problems, MJB has previewed the LP with taster singles ‘Thick Of It’ and ‘U+Me’ and will be bringing the full set to the table sooner than folk may think.

Pharrell Williams‘ foray into the film industry has proven to be effective.

Since penning ‘Happy,’ the infectious theme song set to the animated film ‘Despicable Me 2,‘ the super producer has found himself in the comfortable seat as a household name.

But throughout his quarter century career, Pharrell’s personal life and upbringing in Virginia Beach has always been a mystery of some sort.

That’s all set to change soon, though. Because the 43 year-old has reunited with FOX, the studio he worked with on the Oscar-nominated ‘Hidden Figures,‘ for a film based on his childhood.

John Legend is hitting the road.

The Grammy and Oscar winner is bringing his latest album ‘Darkness and Light’ to audiences across the globe.

Aptly, the trek has been christened the ‘Darkness & Light Tour.’

Released last December, the set yielded moderate hit ‘Love Me Now’ and upcoming single ‘Surefire.’

Since the LP’s roll-out,  Legend more omnipresent than ever. Indeed, there’s been the high profile performances, lucrative synch deals for a number of songs from the project, and a sizeable role in box office blockbuster ‘La La Land.’

He also recently teamed with Ariana Grande for a remake of the ‘Beauty & The Beast’ theme song.

In an industry less defined by the charts than before, he continues to prove that success is relative and winning comes in many flavours.

Last month, R&B group Cherish re-emerged to present the news of new music, and now, as promised, the ladies return with their new single ‘Self Destruction.’

Rising to prominence during Atlanta’s snap music era (see Dem Franchize Boys, D4L, and Soulja Boy) the former quartet found success with ‘Do It To It‘ from its parent album ‘Unappreciated.‘ Success which privileged the ladies an impressive #4 spot on the Billboard 200.

Now, with their ’06 run in the rearview, the group are back as a duo to push ‘Destruction,’ a follow up single to ‘One Time,’ released earlier this month.

From “Harajuku Barbie” to “Harajuku Bondage,” Nicki Minaj leaves little to the imagination in her recently revealed dominatrix-inspired ninja costume, one of many she’ll don in David Guetta‘s ‘Light My Body Up’ visual.

As the Lil Wayne-assisted song, unveiled March 22nd, continues to light up streaming and digital download charts, Minaj thought to turn the heat up on anticipation for its accompanying music video by taking to Instagram to show off some wardrobes from the set.
