Mariah Carey is back and in a big way.

As reported, the legendary diva is Las Vegas bound after she signed a lucrative deal to perform at The Colosseum At Caesars Palace.

Building on the buzz generated by her announcement on The Ellen Degeneres Show, the iconic songbird has not only revealed the dates for the show (which kicks off in May), but also announced a new-ish album in the process.

Ciara and Future may have split in private, however the aftermath of their relationship is playing out publicly.

This week saw the R&B singer, who gave birth to the couple’s child Future Jr seven months ago, release new single ‘I Bet’ – which took square aim at her former beau.

Today sees her rapper ex share his side of the story in new song ‘Just Like Bruddas’.

An ode to his crew, the cut sees the Epic Records MC spit lyrics such as:

“Sh*t ain’t been the same/ They talkin ’bout me on the ‘Gram/ They say I turned my back on my baby mama”

The track features on Future’s new mixtape ‘Beast Mode’, which roars onto the ‘net later tonight.

No word yet on whether it’ll include more of his take on the break-up. What is certain, though, is that ‘Just Like Bruddas’ awaits below…

Just hours after reports surfaced that Mariah Carey had signed the dotted line for an extended stay at Caesar’s Palace, the Grammy winning pop diva sent her faithful Lambs into a frenzy with the official announcement aboard Thursday’s episode of ‘Ellen.’

Inspired by her ‘#1s’ album, Carey says the residency will boast an impressive setlist including live renditions of top hits “We Belong Together,” “Vision of Love,” “Emotions,” “Dreamlover,” “Touch My Body,” “One Sweet Day,” “Don’t Forget About Us” and more.

Those worried about Omarion‘s international relevancy can sleep easier this evening, now the R&B star has began to make slow but promising moves on the UK’s ‘Official Charts’ this week.

For, though his ‘Sex Playlist’ has failed to make a splash in the market, its supporting jam ‘Post To Be’ has showed signs of an impressive run on the nation’s R&B Singles tally, rising 18 spots in the last week to claim the #30 spot.

It was billed as the comeback of a Pop Titan. However, under performing singles, so-so videos, and invisible radio support, confirm that Gwen Stefani‘s return to the Pop sphere is officially in the danger zone.

Let’s peruse the numbers…

Comeback single ‘Baby Don’t Lie’ peaked at a paltry #46 on the Billboard Hot 100, while its follow-up ‘Spark The Fire’ was released to such a frosty reception in December that it’s yet to chart a month on. Neither track is fairing much better on VEVO. The visual for ‘Baby’ has been lodged at the 13 million views mark months after debuting and ‘Fire’ isn’t generating any heat with just 3 million plays worldwide.

Stefani’s current predicament marks the second time in as many years that the singer has found herself on unstable terrain. No Doubt‘s 2012 comeback effort resulted in shocking sales and an axed tour. Hope for another reunion was quelled upon the announcement of Gwen’s new solo venture – which at the time felt like a fair payoff. Yet, with that now a mucky mess of sorts too, it brings the questions of what went wrong and can it be fixed to the surface.

‘Ebro in the Morning‘ welcomed Jordin Sparks to its home hours ago, inviting the ‘Double Tap‘ singer to join them for an interview to promote her forthcoming album, ‘Right Here, Right Now.’

Due out this year, the project will mark her first since she found a mentor and label boss in Salaam Remi, and since her split with ‘Trumpets‘ entertainer Jason Derulo.
