Readers of That Grape Juice know what avid music lovers we are – especially of hits past.

Macklemore made his merry way to’ The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ yesterday evening to perform his new single ‘Downtown’ with his collaborator Ryan Lewis.

The pair are spinning towards the release of their brand new album which will follow their debut album ‘The Heist‘ and had this to say about in a recent interview with ‘Rolling Stone‘:

It has a diversity of sounds and textures and concepts. We’ve been able to take our time with it, and it’s a great feeling to get to that point.

It’s official:  Justin Bieber is back and “Bieber fever” is still well and intact.

If you need evidence look no further than this week’s Hot 100.  There, you’ll find the pop prince enjoying a historic week reigning atop the tally with his latest single ‘What Do You Mean‘ and elsewhere in the top 10 with single ‘Where Are U Now.’  After a whirlwind week of promo (see: MTV VMAs, various talk show appearances, etc.), Bieber dethrones last week’s champ/fellow Canadian crooner The Weeknd and arrives at the top to the tune of 337,000 sold its first week.

The feat not only gives Bieber the first chart-topper of his career, but also puts him in the history books as the youngest act ever to debut at #1 on the Hot 100.

Tamar Braxton is back with an ironically titled new single – ‘Catfish.’

The track’s arrival falls on the day its parent album ‘Calling All Lovers’ was supposed to be released; a fact which is sure to raise eyebrows.

Nonetheless, the singer, reality star, and TV host is pressing on with the roll-out of the catchy cut, which precedes the LP (now due October 2nd).

Though a mid-tempo, the song marks a departure of sorts from the ballad-driven sound of previous efforts ‘Let Me Know’ and ‘If I Don’t Have You.’

Shortly after reports revealed Kim Kardashian‘s crowning as the “Queen of Instagram,” the annual publication has unveiled its new set of records, one of which sees the Colombian crooner continue to dominate female counterparts Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Beyonce, and more to be Facebook’s potentate.

If 2015 has taught us anything, it’s that Rihanna seems more willing to release everything but her eighth studio album.

Confusion and catastrophe have defined the elusive LP, which has yet to spurn any resounding hits with any of its three singles.

Still, the social media model isn’t letting the melee mess up her brand game. Case in point, her partnership with Puma.

As reported, RiRi has been tapped to serve as the “Creative Director” for the sportswear giant’s new lifestyle line.

Singing and dancing may not be Ms. Fenty’s forte, but she sure knows how to style an profile when the director yells “action.”
