Britney Spears may be on a break of sorts as she cooks up her next studio album, yet that hasn’t stopped the singer from keeping brand booming.

The 31-year old has teamed up with Pop maestro Dr Luke for new track ‘Ooh La La’ – a new song set to feature on ‘The Smurfs 2’ soundtrack.

Due for an iTunes release next month, the song will reportedly play at the end of the animated movie, which hits theaters in July.

Speaking on the somewhat unlikely pairing, the former X Factor USA judge said:

“I have always loved the Smurfs as a kid and now my boys are the biggest Smurfs fans EVER. I wanted to surprise them with a song in the movie. I know they’ll think it’s Smurftastic!”

Seven years.

Parting ways with the ‘Respect Us! We Used To Be Relevant’ agenda that saw he and Bow Wow billed laughing stocks circa ’08, the last few years have seen the former B2K star create and release material that’s both contemporary while still organically him. 

Traits, that made his 2012 ‘Care Package’ EP one of our favourite releases to drop that year.

As the world anticipates the very first televised performance of new single ‘Body Party’, Ciara generated even more steam for the single with an appearance on Jammin’ Z90.

Filmed on her way to the set and working on the shoot throughout the day, her time with the company marks the latest corporate moved made by the entertainer.

For, before the release of her new ‘River Island’ collection, the star’s fans welcomed the news that she is to launch her first male fragrance…billed ‘Rogue‘.

It’s certainly been a long road for Candice Glover.  Narrowed down from thousands of contestants, the powerhouse performer saw that journey end and her quest for divadom begin as she bested 22-year-old Texan songstress Kree Harrison to be named 2013′s ‘American Idol’ champ.

A fan favorite from the very start, Candice consistently wowed fans with her takes on tunes ‘Chasing Pavements’, ‘I Who Have Nothing’, and many more.
