The Platinum Edition of Beyonce‘s self-titled album struts into stores next week (November 24th).

As reported, ‘7/11’ is one of two new songs featured on the set, which also includes four remixes and ten live performances.

And while anticipation is already sky-high, it was sent into overdrive moments ago when a 30-second snippet of the Detail produced jam hit the net.

The much-slammed Aaliyah biopic may have had Timbaland in a foul mood over the weekend, but the hitmaker was in great spirits during a stop at The Breakfast Club today.

Naturally, hosts Charlamagne, Angela Yee, and DJ Envy quizzed Timbo on the Lifetime movie and his viral response. Yet, it was the interesting turn that the interview took which has many buzzing. 

The producer used the vast majority of the sit-down to gush about new rapper, Tink.

Aged just 19, the femcee is the latest name signed to Tim’s Mosley Music Group in partnership with L.A. Reid‘s Epic Records. What’s more, the lyricist has received co-signs from the likes of Jay Z and Rick Ross.

Armed with more than just words, the music maestro previewed material from the newbie’s debut album, which he says houses some of his best work since Aaliyah’s ‘One In A Million’.

British chart sensation Ella Henderson has landed in the US.

The songbird, who is astonishingly just 18 years old, has enjoyed ample success on home-soil and is looking to replicate Stateside.

To aid her cause, the soul-filled singer took centre-stage last night on The Voice and delivered a dynamite rendition of the song ‘Ghost’ from her debut album ‘Chapter One’.

Don’t believe the hype! The flag for R&B still waves proudly on the winds of a slew of highly anticipated releases, including those of singers-turned-reality stars Chrisette Michele and Omarion.

Just last week the former B2K frontman posted his new Jhene Aiko and Chris Brown-assisted single ‘Post To Be’ to the net and, shortly thereafter, posted the full track list to his new album ‘Sex Playlist. Due December 2nd, the project will hit shelves just a week after Chrisette’s newest ‘Lyricist Opus.’

The follow-up to the songstress’s 2013’s Grammy-nominated ‘Better,’ Michele sent her fans into a frenzy when she unveiled news of a supporting tour titled ‘The Opus Tour’ (kicking off January 22 in San Francisco).

Usher may be trying to find his footing again chart-wise, yet that hasn’t stopped the R&B force from embracing the artists whose careers his success helped birth. Two of such acts being August Alsina and Trey Songz.

The ‘Good Kisser’ singer enlisted 22-year-old Alsina to serve as the opener on his critically-praised new tour ‘The UR Experience’, which touched down in Chicago yesterday (November 17th).

Springing a surprise on fans in the windy city, Ush staged a spectacle of unity by joining August on-stage during his performance of ‘I Luv This’ and bringing out Trey Songz to perform the remix of the track.

The Band Aid 30 remake of ‘Do They Know It’s Christmas’ has been the subject of much debate since its recording over the weekend.

Indeed, for all the praise showered on the 2014 version of the track (which was first released in 1984), there has also been many who’ve branded it unnecessary and even culturally insensitive.

However, despite the back and forth, sales of the charity single (which aims to raise money for the Ebola relief effort in Africa) have proven phenomenal.
