Of course, while this proven fact might have seen her look down her nose at her lessor contemporaries, it seems to have softened her.

So much so, that she has shown fresh love to the struggling entertainer Lil Kim– with whom she had been engaged in war of words with circa 2010.

Unveiled today, the clip is the latest to be lifted from the American Idol star’s latest project ‘Greatest Hits – Chapter One’ – which thus far has spawned top 20 hit ‘Catch My Breath’.

Mariah Carey can add Miguel to her long list of admirers this year, after the pair collaborated on the promising smash ‘Beautiful‘.

For, in an interview with Pop Sugar TV while on the ‘Billboard Music Award 2013’ red carpet, the Grammy winning trendsetter praised the icon’s creativity and vision, explaining how she pushed the cut forward after he had submitted it to her.
