Much ado was made about Calvin Harris forbidding ex-girlfriend Rita Ora from performing the single he produced for her at the Teen Choice Awards earlier this Summer.

However, in the midst of that melee, it was also quietly confirmed that the rest of the tracks the renown DJ had cooked up for Ora’s hotly anticipated new album wouldn’t be making the project.

And while many have speculated that the said tracks were culled due to Harris’ refusal for them to be placed, 23-year-old Ora has offered a response that doesn’t quite deny those reports – it instead puts a positive spin on the entire episode.

Over the course of her 22 year career, Mary J. Blige has firmly established herself as an international superstar.

It’s fitting, then, that the Queen of Hip-Hop/Soul is prepping a new album christened ‘The London Sessions’.

Due in stores later this year, the concept project was recorded in the UK’s capital Spring through Summer and was pieced together primarily by British producers (although US hitmaker Rodney ‘Darkchild’ Jerkins is helping oversee the set).

The first taste of the album surfaced moments ago in the form of the Disclosure produced ‘Right Now’.

Expect to see a lot of R&B bad boy  Chris Brown in the coming weeks as he prepares for the release of his newest album ‘X.’

Most recently gracing the cover of Billboard magazine, the issue – coming as Brown’s first post-prison interview –  is said to feature some must see quotes about his jail stint, Rihanna, and the host of other scandals that surround the talented singer’s name.

“No one is harder on me than me. No one can please everyone. No one can live in the past and expect to grow. I have been moving forward and hope that I am not defined by just a few moments in my life but all of the moments that will make up my life.”
