The brilliance of R&B’s revival in recent years lies in the variety that has come along with it.

For, as Trey Songz and Willie Taylor succeed in peddling the ‘grown and sexy’, the likes of Frank Ocean continue to carve out more personal lanes, breathing life into the genre with messages and melodies that transcend genre for the first time in a long time.

Joining them in taking the genre back to the top comes Elijah Blake, the Grammy winning singer/songwriter whose ways with words has seen him pen cuts for Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue, Usher, Rihanna and ‘DUI‘ vocalist Ciara.

R&B crooner Miguel is wasting no time building on his buzz.

Taking a brief break from his special guest slot on Alicia Keys’ ‘Set The World On Fire’ tour, the new Grammy winner stopped by The Breakfast Club  on Power 105.1 yesterday to chat about his successful year and what lies ahead.

As usual, there’s never a dull moment with hosts Charlamagne, Angela Yee and DJ Envy.

‘Fading’ singer Rihanna has apologised to fans after cancelling more dates on her latest tour outing.

Citing an illness as her reason for doing so, the star took to her personal Instagram page to reveal why some dates on the ‘Diamonds World Tour’ had been axed…despite the fact she was snapped partying with friends just hours before.

That Grape Juice joined Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams in welcoming the release of ‘Side Effects Of You’, the latest album from ‘Without Me’ singer Fantasia.

Arriving at LA’s London Bridge Studios to enjoy all the album had to offer before it drops on April 23rd, the R&B darlings enjoyed the company of producer Harmony Samuel, as they listened to the release…which we are happy to say is her best yet.
