Indeed, snapped on Thursday purchasing flowers with a friend in LA, the Pop icon proved just how far she had come from then, casually dressed, sans make up and unfazed by onlooking shutterbugs.

Pop powerhouse Leona Lewis joined a host of major names performing at the UK’s first ‘Stand Up To Cancer’ fundraiser tonight.

And while some of her contemporaries struggled to meet the demands of live singing, the ‘Glassheart’ singer delivered a rendition of ‘Run’ (with a choir of cancer survivors) that blew the roof off the building.

It’s every musician-model’s worst nightmare. But oh was the dreaded lip-sync fail a reality for Cheryl Cole tonight. 

The 28 year old took centre stage at the UK’s Stand Up To Cancer telethon this evening to perform her chart smash ‘Call My Name’. However, the showing turned into the messiest of melee’s after her backing track “malfunctioned”, forcing the Girls Aloud star to sing…live.

Three years after embarking on a “hiatus”, Girls Aloud are back to celebrate their ten year tenure.

Cheryl Cole, Nadine Coyle and co are set to release their greatest hits set, aptly titled ‘Ten’, on November 26th and have released the collection’s cover and tracklisting to whip up heightened buzz following today’s tour announcement.

The ‘Something New’ led set features much of the British group’s biggest hits, as well as four new tracks.
