With cuts written by Elijah Blake, Claude Kelly, Eric Bellinger and the Swedish House Mafia,  Rihanna’s seventh studio album is shaping up to be quite the Pop event.

So much so, the singer has taken time out of her recent trip to London to continue work on the project which is set to coincide with the launch of her 2013 World Tour.

Snapped leaving her hotel yesterday afternoon, the ‘Styled To Rock’ producer is reported to have hit a recording studio South of the city, two nights after hitting the Rose Club with members of her team.

‘Put It Down’ diva Brandy is set to do just that all in a name of a good cause for the MDA telethon.

Set for CBS on September 2nd, the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA)-hosted showcase aims to educate viewers on the effects of muscular disease and efforts to combat it.

Other acts tapped to perform include Carrie Underwood, Alanis Morissette, and the All American Rejects. Needless to say, Ms. Norwood will be flying the flag for ‘Urban’ on the show.

‘A Different Me’ maestra Keyshia Cole has been winning old fans over again with her latest Lil Wayne-assisted single ‘Enough of No Love’.

‘Love’, the lead single from the singer’s forthcoming album ‘Woman To Woman’, is a return to form for Cole who says her new album will feature more of the “sad” cuts that rose her to fame in the mid-noughties.

Chatting it up with The Breakfast Club & Essence Magazine recently,  the oft-brazen beauty lent her opinion on why her last album failed, what fans can expect in her new album, and why she admires Mary J. Blige and the relationship of Hip Hop power couple Jay Z & Beyonce.

Back in July, ‘Bad Religion’ singer Frank Ocean found himself under the intense gaze of the media after revealing he had been romantically involved with a male friend aged 19.

Receiving support from his fans and contemporaries alike, Ocean’s openness saw him belabored with the title of ‘this generation’s first openly ‘gay’ R&B singer’, despite the fact that he himself did not label his sexual orientation.

Now, the  philanthropic musician Stevie Wonder has shared his thoughts on Ocean’s sexuality- explaining why he believes some gay people are at times confused by their thoughts.
