With May earmarked as the window through which new Mariah Carey material will arrive, the diva has re-teamed with longtime collaborator  Jermaine Dupri.

Taking to Twitter, the ‘Always Be My Baby’ producer wrote:

I said MC they don’t expect you to be camera ready,she said Yes they do LOL!!

The pair made magic over the years, and will need to conjure up much more if they’re to deliver the “comeback” Carey’s career is need of.

And while their last major outing (‘E=MC2’) saw the pair serve up 100 ‘We Belong Together’ rehashes, we’re confident they can cook up something fresh and dynamic this go round. For, as the ‘Emancipation’ showed, ol’ MiMi is at her best when the odds are stacked against her.

Without a doubt, the return of vocal trio SWV  has served to remind many of R&B’s slow but sure return to the charts.

So in a bid to capitalize on this growing trend, and reignite their once thriving fan base, the ladies have shot a video for their single ‘Cosign‘, the first song lifted from their new album ‘I Missed Us’.

Yesterday afternoon, an email sent by Lil Kim‘s publicist to a number of publications claimed the Rapper was readying a statement which would “destroy Nicki Minaj’s career and credibility forever”.

Today, following the backlash that email received here, her assistant has denied Kim is readying such a statement, citing Minaj’s label as the real masterminds behind its existence.
