Pop icon Janet Jackson has spent  the entire year on the road, reminding masses – the world over – about her back-catalogue of smashes.

The trek’s latest stop was Miami’s Fillmore, where the 45 year old delighted the audience with hits such as ‘Feedback’, ‘Rhythm Nation’, and ‘If’.

While we’re glad to see Ms. Jackson still up and active, we’re hoping she jogs back into the ‘present’, and hits a studio on the way there. Granted many will say she’s “done did it all”, she’s still got ‘it’ in abundance; as such, why stunt your own ability to create new musical moments? The careers of fellow Pop queens Madonna, Mariah Carey, and Tina Turner prove that success doesn’t have to stop in the latter part of one’s career.
