Cher Lloyd may have yet to officially release her debut single, yet that hasn’t stopped her confusing image from becoming even more…confusing.
The 17 year old ‘Swagger Jagger’ singer ditched her long locks for a new shaved hair do, as evidenced by new shots of her as she walked around London this week.
Granted Ms. Lloyd is still, free, and finding herself, anyone who knows the industry knows image consistency is key (at least per project). Just ask Rihanna and that dusty red wig.
Today sees the arrival of “new” music from the much buzzed about Frank Ocean. Produced by Midi Mafia, ‘Dreamkilla’ is a fast paced tale of a man on the run – if only in his dreams.

Disney alum, and Justin Bieber’s significant other, Selena Gomez, bows in at No. 4, Selena Gomez & the Scene sold 78,000 copies of their third album ‘When the Sun Goes Down’. Ironically, season seven American Idol winner, David Cook arrives at No. 7 with his sophomore effort ‘This Loud Morning’ (46,000), while season 10’s champion Scotty McCreery’s five-song EP ‘American Idol Season 10 Highlights’ rounds out the top ten with 40,000 sold.
The final amount of units sold for Beyonce‘s ‘4’ have been revealed.
The album which is this week’s #1 on the Billboard 200, is the fourth solo effort from the ‘Best Thing I Never Had‘ singer.

Following a lengthy hiatus, R&B star Ashanti has resurfaced. Hard at work on her 5th studio album, the singer is said to be in the final stages of recording – and seems to have saved the best for last.
For, moments ago she tweeted a shot of her and one-time Motown labelmate Lil Wayne cutting a track together in the studio. The news of Weezy’s involvement comes on the heels of her also hitting the studio with ‘Motivation’ producer Rico Love.

In an open letter to fans, rapper Bow Wow made a number of revelations. Not that we ever noted there to be overwhelming interest, but the 24 year old, real name Shad Moss, was reportedly addressing hearsay that he had a daughter – hearsay he ultimately confirms as true.

It’s been almost 3 years since the release of Michelle Williams‘ last studio album ‘Unexpected’. Since then the vocal powerhouse has severed tied with manager Mathew Knowles, re-engaged with theatre, and is now making another foray into the world of music.
Currently in the studio with hitmakers Rico Love, Jim Jonsin, among others, Williams says of her new material:
“My album will be ‘inspirational pop.’ Think of Katy Perry’s ‘Fireworks’ or Natasha Beddingfeld’s ‘Unwritten.’ I want to give people a message of hope while at the same time get them moving with dance inspired tracks.”
