Renowned for their line-up changes more than their hits these days, it was only a matter of time before the Sugababes‘ latest campaign hit the skids.
And hit the skids it has. In quite sensational fashion too.

‘A Different Me’ diva Keyshia Cole has sent fans into a frenzy with the announcement that the follow-up to 2010’s ‘Calling All Hearts’ is due in early 2012:
With a movie and reality show in the works, fans should expect to see alot of Cole in the coming months. And, in related news, the songstress also recently took to Twitter to reveal desires to duet with fellow R&B beauty Brandy and assure fans that the 2012 album with be ‘nothing like’ its predecessor.
Given its dismal performance on the charts, we’re sure fans and labels alike are hoping such is true in more ways than one .
Fans and critics alike were up in arms when sharp-tongued music mogul Simon Cowell remarked that once-confirmed pop diva Mariah Carey‘s role on X Factor was no more. Citing Hurricane Irene as the cause, Cowell stated he’d replaced the ‘Butterfly’ beauty with ‘someone bigger’.
Now, the mogul may be singing a different tune. Find out what Simon says after the jump:
Looks like ‘Shortie Like Mine’ co-stars Chris Brown and Bow Wow are reuniting in a new way. Joining Brown on his nationwide ‘F.A.M.E.’ trek, the Cash Money Records rapper will see his stay on the tour extend over the month of October (picking up where Kelly Rowland leaves off).
Following that tenure, Mr. 106&Park will then prep fans for the release of his eighth studio album ‘Underrated’. The LP, which is scheduled for a December release date, also features a cameo from Chris on ‘Thinkin’ About You’).
Will Bow and Chris be crashing into your town? Fans can see the dates below:
Fans of rising rapstress Kreayshawn can find her latest creations in the most recent issue of Complex magazine. Sharing the coveted cover with fellow rap up-and-comer Kid Cudi, the ‘Gucci Gucci’ performer is seen in a variety of colorful shots below:
Fans hoping for a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the shoot can see it after the jump:
North Carolinian emcee J. Cole may be the latest hip-hop hitmaker to find his album prematurely leaking online, but he’s taking it all in stride. Most recently speaking with VIBE, the Roc Nation rapper, whose debut album ‘Cole World: A Sideline Story’ is due in stores September 27th, is quoted saying:
“There’s been worse leaks than that so I understand it’s a part of the game, I always understood that. As long as people hear it together, it’s cool. It’s kind of like promotion these days—if you got a good album. If you don’t have a good album—they’ll just trash you.”
In the brief interview with the Urban publication, the rapper also touched on pre-album release jitters and hinted on what fans could expect from the leaked LP. Hear this and more after the jump:
Yesterday, we reported that ‘Miss Independent’ maestro Ne-Yo was soon readying to make longtime girlfriend, Monyetta Shaw, the new Mrs. Smith. The web was set abuzz with news from her reps confirming to US Weekly Magazine that the two were engaged and expecting their second child.
However, now reps from the singer’s camp are denying the claim stating:
“Although the couple is expecting again, there is no engagement just yet.”

In related news, the singer is indeed expecting his new album and mixtape to arrive in coming months. Trips down the aisle, however, will have to wait.
Urban Pop’s permanently pouted lip posterboy Trey Songz is making rounds promoting his upcoming double mixtape releases for ‘Anticipation 2’ and “LemmeHoldDatBeat2” (both due November 1). While the former is the follow-up to his famed ‘Anticipation’ mixtape (2009) and follows the same avenue of R&B panty-dropping tunes, the latter sees the singer ditch his trademark howl for a flow. Both will tide fans over until Songz opens Chapter 5 – his fifth studio album.
Most recently spotted with our friends at SoulCulture, Songz modestly dished on his evolution into the realm of rap by stating:
“No singer can rap better than me. I think I rap better than most rappers.”
Interesting. Find out what else Trigga talked about after the jump:
Check out ‘Mama Knows Best‘ belter Jessie J last night at one of London Fashion Week‘s many showings.
Sporting a purple tint and animated leggings, the singer was front row at the Giles Show just weeks after she served as the house act at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards.

Diva Mariah Carey was snapped jogging around New York City this week. The singer’s get fit-quick campaign seems to be heading in the right direction if her body is any indication.
Who’d have thought she popped out twins just a few months ago?
In any case, given the 42 year old propensity to flaunt her assets, we can only hope she’s putting as much effort into exercising her voice (which includes laying off alcohol). For, in light of the industry’s sad age bias, her vocal chords are her best chance of staying relevant in this turbulant climate.
Whilst in the United Kingdom to shoot the video for the single ‘Criminal‘, Pop staple Britney Spears has embarked on a promotional push for her latest LP ‘Femme Fatale‘.
In the space of three days, Ms Spears gave interviews to a number of UK media outlets, including DayBreak, Loose Women, Radio One and This Morning all in a bid to force the so so selling project into higher chart ground.
