Christina Aguilera and boyfriend Matt Rutler were snapped arriving at the Ed Sullivan Theater last night for her taping of ‘Late Show With David Letterman’.

Yet, in stark contrasting the singer’s bubbly showing on the show, both her and Rutler sported noticeably ‘hard’ faces. Why so sad?

As we enter the home stretch of the pre-release buzz for Lady GaGa‘s ‘Born This Way’, another cut from the set has surfaced. Enter ‘Marry The Night’.

Deemed one of the singer’s favourite tracks from the record, ‘Night’ was initially slated to serve as the project’s lead single.

The hosts and judges of the X Factor USA were all smiles last night at the Fox Upfronts. And with good reason too.

For, the network announced at the high profile event that the talent search will form the centre-piece of its Fall schedule when it launches in September.

Also, much like its rival American Idol, the show will air on Wednesdays at 8pm for 90 minutes, and Thursdays at 8pm for an hour.

Soulful songstress Adele graces the cover of June’s ‘Out’ magazine.

The Brit superstar’s sophomore set ’21’ has stormed charts globally  to the tune of 6 million copies sold worldwide. An impressive feat in itself, the achievement is rendered all the more epic given the LP’s January release date.

It’s been a minute since we’ve heard anything from Pop songstress Shontelle. Indeed, following the release of her last single ‘Perfect Nightmare’ (and its subsequent poor performance), all seemed to grind to a halt for the Bajan beauty.

Yet, in what seems to be a case of ‘down, but not out’, the 25 year old is back with ‘Say Hello To Goodbye’ – the fourth single to be lifted from her sophomore set ‘No Gravity’.

‘Hair’, the latest promotional track to be lifted from Lady GaGa‘s ‘Born This Way’ LP was released moments ago. Produced by RedOne, the cut features an appearance from Clarence Clemons of the E Street Band.

‘Hair’ follows ‘The Edge Of Glory‘ which exceeded all expectations when it reached #1 on iTunes globally last week; despite only serving as a buzz single.

Christina Aguilera turned heads today at the 2011 NBC Upfronts. The diva was one of many high-profile figures in attendance at the event, which was at The Hilton Hotel, New York.

Aguilera currently stars on the network’s ratings winner, ‘The Voice’.

As earlier reported, Britney Spears features in the latest issue of Harper’s Bazaar.

True to from, though, the studio singer’s feature boasts little more than pre-approved questions and answers, providing little insight into her world nor personality. Indeed, at this stage, one has to wonder if its actually Spears or her publicist taking part in these promotional spots. Sigh.

In any case, there are a few fruitful tidbits in the piece – including Spears’ thoughts on chart rivals Lady GaGa and Rihanna, well as her special relationship with Madonna.
