Patti LaBelle may boast a career that spans over six decades, but that doesn’t mean she has any plans on slowing down any time soon.
The 78-year-old songstress, christened the ‘Godmother of Soul,’ sat down with ‘CBS Mornings’ recently to dish on her legendary career and plans for the future which include a new album, her first traditional studio effort since 2017’s ‘Bel Hommage.’
Chatting it up with the show’s resident correspondent Jericka Duncan, look inside to hear LaBelle discuss her forthcoming project – a 20-song opus she claims will be “full of surprises” that includes appearances from fellow music icon Mariah Carey as well as GRAMMY winners Ledisi and Jazmine Sullivan.
