With award season in full swing, expect the year’s best and biggest in entertainment to be gearing up to grace the stages of annual award show staples to perform and accept coveted trophies.

The latest to unveil its highly anticipated list of nominees is the E! People’s Choice Awards.

Led by Justin Bieber (who scored a whopping 10 nominations across the music categories), Lil Nas X and Doja Cat – two of the year’s best-selling musical acts – also collected a bevy of nods with 6 and 5 respectively.  Olivia Rodrigo, easily the year’s breakout star, also garnered five nods for work found aboard her blockbuster debut album, ‘Sour.’

GRAMMY-winning comedienne Tiffany Haddish continues her comical foray into music by giving her 2020 single, ‘Come & Get Your Baby Daddy,’ a 2021 facelift.

Calling on her EMMY-winning, ‘Girls Trip’ co-star Jada Pinkett-Smith as well as award-winning rapstress Trina to assist on the tune’s remix, the ladies don’t hold back via the song’s stinging lyrics about bachelors who are ineligible because they can’t keep their pants on.

“Should I have a baby by Michael B. Jordan? / Bought a crib in the hills right next to Lauren / We been broked up, why you still callin’? / Like Future, you got too many baby mamas / Like Brandy for the independent baby mamas,” Tiffany spits on the hilarious track.

Also featuring cameos from legendary ‘Good Times’ star John Allen Amos and other familiar faces, look below for Haddish’s ‘Baby Daddy’ remix.

Megan Thee Stallion fans – affectionately called #Hotties – can never complain their fave doesn’t keep them satiated with new music.

As if dropping the ‘Suga’ EP and her debut album, ‘Good News,’ just months apart last year wasn’t enough, the GRAMMY winner’s spent most of this year listed on a number of soundtracks and as a featured artist on other hitmakers’ music. Between those guest appearances, Stallion unveiled freestyles and unreleased tracks throughout the year – a series of roll outs that inspired her forthcoming compilation project, ‘Something for the Hotties.’

Announced Thursday (October 21), the 15-track set – which Meg says will ‘hold [fans] over for the rest of the year’ – includes her latest hit single, ‘Thot Shit,’ and will hit digital shelves October 29.

The ‘Queens’ are back for their thrones.

Eagerly anticipated, ABC‘s new music drama is anchored by Brandy, Eve, Naturi Naughton, and Nadine Velazquez.

The show tells the tale of a group of friends who have a shot at reclaiming their glory years.

In the 90s, they performed together as part of the female rap collective – the Nasty Girls. Fast forward to the present and their lives are markedly different.

The series follows the quad as they navigate a new normal and the chance at another spell in the spotlight.

Keke Palmer took vocal flight at Major League Baseball’s World Series with a soaring rendition of the US National Anthem. 

The multi-hyphenate star, whose success spans TV, movies, and more, showcased her musical gravitas with the melismatic offering of ‘The Star-Spangled Banner.’

Confident and controlled, the performance earned Palmer immediate praise from the adorning audience and those watching too.

Because GRAMMY-winning singer-songwriter Ashanti has enjoyed her own run as an international musical superstar over her 20+-year career, portraying a character of that ilk (‘Fancy G’) came all in a day’s work for the 41-year-old aboard her latest film, ‘Honey Girls.’

Delivered via a direct-to-digital and DVD release on October 19 (a week after Ashanti’s birthday), the movie was birthed from a partnership with Build-A-Bear and based on the Build-A-Bear toy line of the same name.
