The highs and lows of music history’s biggest boybands will be chronicled like never before inside the forthcoming documentary ‘Larger Than Life: Reign of the Boybands.’

From pioneers (Jackson 5, The Beatles, The Monkees) to ensembles that changed the entertainment genre forever (New Kids on the Block, New Edition, NSYNC, Hanson, Backstreet Boys),  the Paramount+ film will not only delve into the highlights and evolution of the male singing group format but also the rarely spoken about dark sides.

‘Larger’ also boasts appearances from members of the aforementioned bands include Lance Bass, Michael Bivins, Nick Lachey, Donnie Wahlberg, Donny Osmond, AJ McLean, Chris Kirkpatrick, Jeff Timmons, Hanson, and more.

Before stunning 2024 MTV EMAs viewers with the award show debut performance of her latest single ‘Push 2 Start‘ on Sunday night (November 10), Tyla dropped jaws on the event’s red carpet in a gorgeous vintage Robert Cavalli gown.

Social media sleuths were quick to recognize its design was a clear nod to the tiger-print dress donned by late R&B princess Aaliyah on the carpet of the 2000 MTV VMAs.

Richard Pryor and John Candy‘s 1985 classic ‘Brewster’s Millions’ gets a yuletide revamp courtesy of the BET+ original film ‘Brewster’s Millions Christmas.’

Starring China Anne McClain as the lead character, the new holiday comedy tells the tale of a “wealthy heiress who has lost her way” and is “faced with a Christmas challenge to inherit her uncle Monty Brewster’s grandfather’s fortune: learn the true meaning of love, faith, and family by giving instead of receiving.”

Supported by a cast of familiar faces like Romeo Miller, Tequan Richmond, Telma Hopkins, Sierra Aylina McClain, and more, the Patricia Cuffie Jones-directed movie charges to screens on December 5 as one of eight festive films on the streamer’s holiday slate this year.
